Apologies for not being around much lately, but it’s that time of year when it’s only going to get busier, I’m sorry to say
The weekend has been full of Parish Christmas Fayre’s, discussions with the priest about a new venture he wants me to be involved in, visit’s to the hospital (to visit my sick ‘mother in law’) getting together for lunch with my folks, my brother and my children, making cards at the request of my dear Gayla
…going to Mass, preparing for tomorrow night (more about tomorrow in the next post) trying to crack on with being a mother to my gorgeous children and squeezing in the odd half an hour on my essay…Thank you God for giving me so much to do and for letting me know that this is just the beginning, there are some GREAT time’s ahead!
I Love you Lord.
O Sacred Heart of Jesus,
fountain of eternal life,
Your Heart is a glowing furnace of Love.
You are my refuge and my sanctuary.
O my adorable and loving Savior,
consume my heart with the burning fire
with which Yours is aflamed.
Pour down on my soul
those graces which flow from Your love.
Let my heart be united with Yours.
Let my will be conformed to Yours in all things.
May Your Will
be the rule of all my desires and actions.
~ Saint Gertrude

a word of advice
schedule in own time too (maybe the making the cards is that)
we are human be-ings not do-ings, God wants us to spend time with him, just us alone
