Handcrafted Card Giveaway

Some of you may remember that at the beginning of June I started a ‘handcrafted card giveaway’. Well, I know I’m a day or so early on closing the draw but there hasn’t been a new entry to the draw for the last 14 days, so I figured that since I have other parcels to send around the world tomorrow, I’d get the draw done and dusted and then I can send the cards off to their recipient, saving on trips to the Post Office!

In total there were 16 draw entries. To maximise fairness to everyone I allocated each entrant with a number between 1 and 16, according to their entries in the comments section. I then used a random number generator to pick out the winning number.

It gives me much pleasure to announce therefore, that the winner of the June prize draw is Lorna!

Thanks to all of you for your participation, it’s been a lot of fun crafting for you! I hope to have another draw in the none too distant future. Perhaps the rules for future draws will be that everyone who has already won, will graceously promise the prize to a friend or family member to avoid any individual winning more than once for themselves? I know the ever generous Lorna has promised that if she won this prize she would give her friend Tottis her win, as Lorna herself has commissioned me to make cards for her in the past and Tottis rather took a shine to them when she saw them.

Bless your heart Lorna, the cards will be on their way to Finland tomorrow morning, I hope Tottis likes them  :-)
