Like most people, I have hobbies and interests; one of the things I really enjoy is photography. Many years ago I worked as a professional portrait photographer and the love of this great medium never quite went away though I haven’t worked in a professional capacity for 17 years, since I became pregnant with my first child. Nowadays I put some of the skills I learned back then to use, so that I can now take photographs and then add inspirational text or Scripture quotes to them and upload them to my Credo Christian E-Cardsite so that they can be sent as E-Cards at no cost whatsoever, by anyone who feels inclined to send them to their friends and family members.
All you need to do to visit my E-Card site is to click the photographs above or click the photographs on the sidebar of the ‘home page’ of this blog, it’s as simple as that. I hope you’ll enjoy using the service.
I am known in the blogosphere as Ukok (that's 'UK' 'OK'). I'm a British convert to Catholicism and the mother of Wondergirl and Wonderboy and our yorkshire terrier, Bella. I am extremely creative. I am a former photographer. These days I enjoy designing scrapbook and card making papers, E-Cards, Blog Banners, prayer cards and bookmarks. I make all of these available for free download. They can be accessed by using the links above. Well, that's enough about me. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy your visit!
All writings, photographs, paintings, E-Cards etc on this site are copyright of the author of Ukok's Place and therefore should not be used in any way whatsoever without the express permission of the author of this blog.
"Writing can be a true spiritual discipline. Writing can help us to concentrate, to get in touch with the deeper stirrings of our hearts, to clarify our minds, to process confusing emotions, to reflect on our experiences, to give artistic expression to what we are living, and to store significant events in our memories. Writing can also be good for others who might read what we write.
Quite often a difficult, painful, or frustrating day can be "redeemed" by writing about it. By writing we can claim what we have lived and thus integrate it more fully into our journeys. Then writing can become lifesaving for us and sometimes for others too."
