Catholic Prayers and Devotions
The following prayers are some of the most popular Catholic prayers in existance . They are prayed the world over, every minute of every day; in Churches, in homes, at work. At times of great joy and thanksgiving, and at times of incredible sadness and personal suffering.
It matters not so much, how often we pray them, but of whether we are genuine in heart, when we do so.

I have been trying to find out where you disappeared to for some time now, as I have often wanted to talk to you, and finally I tracked you down through Jeffrey Lloyd a few minutes ago. (Don’t worry, I am not stalking you) . Anyway I wanted to let you know that I am being brought into full communion in the Catholic Church on Easter Saturday.Its a long story and has been a long road. Its hard to explain but I fell all smiley inside and out. I have been attending Mass three times a week for the last 8 months and have never felt closer to God nor more at home. Anyway won’t bore you. I don’t post on CF as often as I used to, it just doesn’t feel the same as it was a few years ago, not quite as disciplined and moderated as it was in years gone by, which is a shame.(Gee I sound old don’t I) I have joined a couple of other boards but haven’t found anywhere that is close to how the old CF used to be. Guess thats why I still find my self checking in at CF albeit somewhat disappointed.
I am so glad I have now found your blog. A while ago at one stage I even googled ukok to try and find you. So anyway if you have time maybe you might give me a thought for Easter saturday and send a little prayer up for me. This looks like a great website, you are very clever. I haven’t had time to have a good look around yet but I will be back.

My 28-year old cousin died in his sleep after surgery on his legs on Monday. It is not at all clear yet what happened. He had been awake post-surgery and speaking with his family, and ate some dinner. At midnight, the nurse gave him a light snack. At 3 am he was found dead.

I am in need of emergency prayers. I do not know where else to turn but I am so overwhelmed that I cannot handle it anymore.I am a mother of three and I am such a failure in so many ways. I have tried so hard but only to fail again. We are about to be evicted from our home. We are behind two months and were served the pay or evict papers this week and have until Dec 17th to have it paid which I cant.I have been very very
sick and found out this past week that I have to have a full hysterectomy on the 24th.Then more than likely will have to have Chemo. I am scared and have lost all of my hope. How can I handle this with three children. I have noone to help me. I am going to be on complete bed which I have been on for last two wks and its only going to get

MY UNCLE NIKOLA (my mother’s only brother) is in hospital already 3 weeks and his CONDITION IS CRITICAL, even worse than it was. Few years ago he had a stroke and now HIS BRAIN CELLULES ARE ATROPHYING. HE CAN NOT MOVE HIS LEFT LEG AND HAND.

I’m so sorry to learn of your difficulties. It sounds like you have a really rough few years and i do appreciate how it feels to think that no one is hearing your prayers. I have felt like that myself.
Please be assured that I am hearing you, and i do believe that God hears you. Please do seek some help about your excessive drinking, i understand that drinking can blot out the hurt and pain, but they are still there and will have to be dealt with one day anyway….also, drinking is going to make you sick, and as you say, you realise that if you don;t stop, you could lose your life through alcoholism.
You are not alone, even when you feel like you are. Please know that God loves you and that people around the world, strangers, care enough to write this to you and to pray for you.

Please pray I find my scapular. I had a general procedure done last Friday and I took my scapular. I put it in my deep, sweatpant pocket. I was lucid when I transferred the scapular as I do it on a daily basis. My problem is not so much in losing it but in hopes it has not been disrespected or harmed. It was blessed. My husband does not believe in God or any higher power. He has gaslighted me before and I really would like to find it so I stop blaming him in my thoughts and actions. He was the only one access to my clothes while I had the procedure. I have called the clinic and they did not locate it. I need to know the truth so I can start moving forward in my life. I have always been so prayerful for others and I pray for all these requests to be answered by the Holy Mother of God’s intercession to our Heavenly Father as I pray for health, happiness, and truth in my life so the dysfunction in my family ends. It has taken a heavy toll on me in the past 26 years of marriage as I struggle with emotional and mental “games”. Prayer has been my outlet and this marriage has ruined many friendships and even therapy for me as I won’t seek a divorce since I can never prove anything concrete–it’s always circumstantial. People get sick of hearing me complain and not do anything about it–I see their point but it’s so complex to explain. I have grown isolated and superficial with all people in the past ten years. It’s as if I want Mary herself to come to me with permission to end this marriage and lead me in the path God wills for me for I doubt myself constantly. All the examples I could post would be endless. I have many other blessings that I thank God for and try to accept this as my cross. I want healthy relationships, health in my family and healing. I pray for my children, mother, sister and her family, my brother and his family, the world to be at peace, and the poor souls in purgatory. All of my life I have been patient and constantly give all I can only to end up manipulated and deceived. I realize the actions and have taken appropriate action with other poison relationships by setting up boundaries or quitting them altogether. However, I am financially and religiously tied to this man as I try to follow the Catholic dogma. I often wonder about my own sanity–if I am really making up these things and love living in constant tension and anxiety. Thank you. I appreciate any prayers in helping me with anxiety and knowing the truth.
I pray for my son, Cody who left for his 1st year of college this summer. He called me at 11 o’clock tonight. He was panicking because someone has taken his brand new laptop computer his grandfather a widower gave him as a gift for his high school graduation. He claims someone took it from his room and has no clue where it could be. He will be home in 2 days and leaves again on the 20th for the fall semester. Cody called me because he knows I truly believe in the POWER of prayer and I have been blessed time and time again….miracles are apart of my life! He has seen it happen and so he called me because he wanted to know the patron saint of lost articles. Please pray for us.. We have such a fiancial burdon on us. I was terminated from my position as a resident manager with only two weeks to find a job and a place to live. The board is heartless and may deny my unemployment leaving us with nothing. They gave me no encourahement and just snuck around for weeks knowing that they were going to let me go.
