Scripture – Picture 13

Taken from a moving vehicle in Wales 2006

Hurry, hurry, hurry, life is such a hurry. Sometimes we might just need to stop what we’re doing and ‘know’ God in our day. How many times have we overlooked the beauty of people and places and experiences, because there’s always something we haven’t crossed off our ‘to do’ list ? You won’t have to look very hard to find beauty in your life. Just stop for a moment and you’ll see it, sure enough.

I love that quote! I have it around my home.
It makes sooooo much sense, doesn’t it?
Another great photo and thought to go along
    with it, young lady!

Ooh. That picture really works with that verse.

There’s a strange stillness to being on a train, moving in a rapid linear way across a landscape, but looking out at a fixed horizon. It inverts your usual relationship with the landscape, and you get a strange kind of vertigo.

So very true, and so often overlooked.

Glad you have enjoyed this image and especially the scripture passage that accompanied it 🙂

  5. I did both this past week. A lot of travling… and a lot of pausing.

The best was the pause to pray.

    God bless you my friend!
