Hey Deb! Rob just saw a job posting for a metallurgical engineer in Swindon, Wiltshire or something – 2 hours out of London? He said to ask you what it’s like! LOL I told him I didn’t want to move to England – it’s too expensive and mostly I wouldn’t understand anyone’s accent! (I find some British accents very difficult to understand)
There were two British ladies in McDonald’s yesterday while Roc and I were there – Roc was playing in the “Playplace” as was a son of one of the British ladies – and she had to “change his nappy”! Love it. But the two of them were so heavy with their accent, I couldn’t understand a lot of what they were saying (yeah, I was eaves dropping – couldn’t help it, there wasn’t anyone else but them in the room and I just sat there and heard them talking!) It sounded like a foreign film to me! LOL

But once I said something to them and when I heard MYSELF speak, I sounded -to myself- like Jed Clampett from the Beverly Hillbillies.

    Ye haw.
