Petition Her Majesty the Queen on HFE Bill

Fr. John Boyle recently contacted me to draw my attention to an online petition to Her Majesty the Queen with regard to requesting that she withhold Royal assent to the HFE Bill.

Please do fill in this online form. It will take only one or two seconds of your time.

Thank you.

I heard about this horrific bill on the radio today. I didn’t know the queen could veto a bill. Does she do it very often. i didn’t sign because I figured she would only want to hear from British subjects?

Foreign nationals do not have the constitutional right to petition HM, but if they do, the Queen will hear it “as a matter of grace” and treat it as if it were coming from her Commonwealth subjects [from the Home Office website].

    Thanks for your input V!
