Our Family Christmas 2008

Hi folks, i hope you are all enjoying your Christmas. I’m sure you are all far too busy to be reading blogs on Boxing Day, but i’m taking a breather from the turkey and tinsel just for long enough to share a few pics of our Christmas Day.

We went to Carols Around the Tree and then Midnight Mass and so we didn’t get home till 1.30am Christmas Morning. Of course by then everyone was parched after all the carol singing and so  we all had some hot chocolate to drink and a mince pie. At about 2.15am we eventually went to bed. Here is a picture of Wonderboy who woke me up at 8am informing me that it was now Christmas Day. I stumbled out of bed and he jumped in it…didn’t take him long to get back out of it though, especially with the mention of Christmas presents awaiting to be opened!

The lounge was a picture of quiet and order…

…for about all of 10 minutes….

The kids were in such good spirits (presents tend to do that to a person i guess. Who knew 😉 ). They bought gifts for one another and even hugged, kind of…

and they continued being nice to one another throughout the day… kinda surreal but i could get used to it, even if they can’t…

I think all that being nice to his sister made Wonderboys head a little crazy though…

And speaking of crazy…here’s a snap of my parents, the ever gracious and kind hearted hosts of our family Christmas…still crazy in love…

…and while i’m feeling contentedly festive and teetotally merry and uninhibited, here’s a softfocus-snap of yours truly…

…truly yours, with love…
