We finally made it home after an unintentional detour which involved in our getting lost in Chester on the way back from Wales. The flippin A51 isn’t very well signposted in Chester and that is all i’m saying about that! (I said enough this afternoon, and it wasn’t pretty, let me tell you).

When we got home I shoved a couple of loads of laundry in and then decided that we could just about make it to evening Mass…i was tired after driving back and unpacking, but i wanted to go to Mass today so that i can have a lie in tomorrow morning. This stupid dumb cough is keeping me awake at nights so i’m shattered and hope to feel better if i can get a good nights sleep in my own bed. Of course the coughing makes the migraine and headache about a dozen times worse too, and the new meds are doing nowt at all, but as always, i tell God to do with my small sufferings what he will, unless purgatorial, they are no good to me that i am aware of.

We had a wonderful time in Wales and it really was a very much needed holiday/vacation, but it is good to be home too.

Night night all 🙂

Glad you’re home alright. Unwanted and unplanned detours on the road are quite exasperating, aren’t they? Hope you feel better soon from that cough! God bless you.

We just drove back from Wales on Friday also!

We spent 20 hours in the car over the last week….with a 5 month old!

    God Bless

So glad you had a great holiday. I think one of the best things about holidays is coming home.
