Momma (should have) said there would be days like this…

There you are, thinking that you’ll do a bit of DIY art therapy and then you accidentally stand on a tube of green acrylic paint and…..oh….my…gosh…my…golly….

It’s 2 days on now and though i’ve cleaned the paint of the door and floor (it was much worse than in the photos), the paint on the wall remains there until i can buy a tin of paint to repaint the kitchen.

My daughter says I could splatter the whole wall with different colours and pretend it’s a work of  art…she may be on to something…but i don’t think i am brave enough to do it!

You can always paint the white back over it all once you do as your daughter suggested if you end up not liking the results so, be brave!

I know I’m supposed to say, being the artsy guy, that it would look great. I think it could be quite therapeutic but I couldn’t live with the spatter after, tough to hang paintings on that and too distracting too look at over time – but that’s me not you and heck, I live way over here on this side of the Pond so, do what works for you.

God bless all your creativity. God bless your family, all your family not only those who live within the same walls as you. God bless you.

Oh My GOSH!!! My best to you! I do like that color green though! 🙂

If that was in our house, I would tell everyone that one of the children had done it.
