Get in line! It’s a big club out here – all of us “less than Holy”, “Holy not so much”, “what, me Holy?” …. we’re a much bigger crowd (gettin’ bigger all the time too 🙂 )!

You’re living and breathing – that means another day to work for God and serve His people. In your case it’s perhaps more of a challenge because His people appear to be fighting you, but hold on to your hat – the ride is always rough when you believe and believe enough to live your belief, when you believe love is the answer and you live your love. Hang onto your hat kid. Prayers continue.

It’s a start Deb. We all have to start (again and again) I think there needs to be an NHA group (not holy anonymous) where we climb 12 steps too. No seriously I have wondered if the 12 steps could work for a spiritual excercise thing; after all I think that is why it works so well with alchoholics and other addicted people.
It doesn’t seem (from what I’ve seen) to work so well in al anon but there must be something in it.
    Sorry, I’m rambling.
    I’ll be quiet.
    God bless 🙂

Oh, yes! The 12 Steps are absolutely a “Spiritual Exercise” if that is what you choose them to be. Besides, like you said..the finding of some strong “spirituality” by using them, was certainly the key to the success of the “founders.” It does work well in Al-Anon, if the people in the group work it..”It works if you work it!” Its just though, like not being “holy” all the time..its an ongoing everyday process and sometimes we fall off the ladder..wagon, whatever you call it. 🙂 Blessed Lent, Deb.
I’m trying to keep really busy with things God might want, whilst I wait for things to change for the better in our life too..with our family members. What else can we do…work and pray…pray and work. Anyway, ongoing prayers and I’m sending another good hug to you. 🙂

The will of God will not take you where the grace of God will not protect you.

I agree with John and mum6kids– life is a battle, but don’t give up. We are all praying for you and holding you and your family up to God’s love.

Hugs and prayers. The goal of the Christian life is to get back up again, not to never fall.
