It sounds like he has good medical care – so he is in good hands with them and in God’s hands during all of this. May God bring all of you comfort, strength, and peace during this! I’ll keep you in my prayers!

    Praying!

Here’s the update for tonight. We got to the hospital this evening to find that Dad had had a great deal more tests, one of which revealed something rather significant. The proffesor who is looking after Dad’s case had explained yedterday that it may be that Dad had had a couple of heart attacks and that may be the reason for the consistantly alarming ECG results and lack of oxygen in his body. However,  she did also tell Dad that she thought that also it could be that a blood clot was in his body somewhere.

Well today Dad had a special type of scan that slices up (visually via computer!) his lungs and identifies anything untoward. What showed up was a blood clot in/on his lung and it is right next to his heart (valve, i think)  and obstructing the flow of oxygen through Dad’s heart. This has been quite a shock, but now the problem is known, work has begun (non invasive at this time) to do all that is possible to prevent the blood clot doing its worst.  I beg your continued prayers, well wishes and positive thoughts for Dad.

Mum is a regular reader of my blog and many of your blogs too and she read the comments on yesterdays post and was really touched that so many lovely people from all around the world, who we may never meet, actually care about our little family and offers prayers for us and take the time to express their concern. God Bless you all, we love you and we appreciate you.

I will continue to update as and when i can, at this point, with Dad’s lung problems deteriating and now with the blood clot blockage, it is going to take a considerable amount of time for Dad to be experiencing a better quality of life…but i have to say, that despite all my gripes with the NHS, they have cared for Dad exceptionally well up till now, and i pray they will long continue to do so. They are being very thorough.

Dad will need moderate medium/long term care but we are just taking each day as it comes and thanking God for allowing things to unfold in such a way that the doctors have been able to identify what is wrong, before it was too late.

Once again, many thanks to all,

God Bless you!
